How to navigate Picsart using accessibility features

Use keyboard navigation on a desktop computer: The Picsart site can be navigated using a keyboard. Use up/down arrow or page up/page down keys to scroll. How Picsart works

Picsart is an all-in-one platform where people can create, customize and share images and videos. Picsart is available on both mobile and web. Its easy-to-use photo and video editing tools, filters, and content allow creators of all skill levels to design professional-quality work, fast. Picsart operates on a “freemium” model, offering a range of features and tools at no charge. Purchasing a Picsart Plus membership gives you access to features not available with our Free service. Picsart Pro membership unlocks all of Picsart’s advanced photo and video editing tools, delivering endless opportunities for creative expression. Accessibility features are available equally to all Picsart users.

To get started with Picsart you need an account. You can sign up by clicking on the “Start creating” button on the top right hand of your screen or by clicking on the pricing tab at the top of your screen in the center. Once you have signed up for an account you can log in using the 'Log in' button in the top right hand corner of your screen.

You can browse Picsart's range of templates in our design library and our range of tools for photo video and design editing. These can be found under the “Create” tab at the top left hand corner of your screen. Advanced tools for business can be found under the “Business” tab and further features including our blog, news and tutorials can be found in the “Learn” and “Connect” sections under the “Resources” tab. Access to a range of Spaces for content creators can also be found under the “Resources” tab. Spaces provide a place to connect with other creators with interests in similar themes or topics.

How Picsart supports accessibility tools

Pages across Picsart are designed to support a wide range of users, including those who rely on assistive technologies. Our platform aims at supporting features such as keyboard navigation, compatibility with screen readers, speech recognition, or other assistive technologies. Most pages on our platform support zooming up to 200% without layout issues. Picsart is compatible with modern browsers including Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge and is intended to be compatible with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and Talkback. Picsart is built using a combination of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and native iOS and Android applications and it leverages operating system and device level APIs to support assistive technologies in ways customers are familiar with.

How we make the Picsart platform accessible

We work backwards from the needs of all our customers to deliver a convenient and suitable experience for those who rely on accessibility tools. Our approach is informed by multiple accessibility guidelines and industry best practices and we target compliance with the EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Level AA.

We conduct regular accessibility testing, including self-assessments and external evaluations by accessibility experts, to help ensure our customers using assistive technologies can access our services effectively and as completely as is possible. We have established policies and processes to prevent and address accessibility issues before they reach our customers and respond quickly when customers encounter problems. We continually educate and promote awareness about accessibility among our teams.

Competent Authority in the EU for Accessibility

Under the European Accessibility Act, users of in scope services (which include Picsart) have the right to complain to a competent Market Surveillance Authority if a service is not accessible to the standards required by the European Accessibility Act.
