How To Create a #throughmyshades Image

This week, we’ve challenged you to show us the world through your sunglasses with the Weekly Tag #throughmyshades. In this tutorial we’ll show you how to create an image with a couple of PicsArt’s Effects, but feel free to use the full power of the Editor when creating your submission. Remember, the more creative the better! 

Step 1: Apply First Effect

Open your image and tap on Effect. Select an Effect (we chose the Seafoam Effect) from the FX menu. Do not tap the checkmark to confirm.

Step 2: Adjust Brush Settings

Open your brush settings by tapping on the circle located underneath the Paintbrush icon. Set your brush at maximum Opacity and give it a Hardness of about 80.

Step 3: Erase First Effect

Using your finger, erase the effect inside the lenses of your sunglasses. When you’re done, tap Apply. Open the Effects menu again and tap on the Blur section.

Step 4: Apply & Erase Second Effect

Select the Blur Effect. Using the same process, erase the effect inside the lenses of your sunglasses. Tap on the checkmark to confirm and save your work!
