The photos of Kevintsoi (@kevintsoi) take us into the grungy streets of a city located somewhere in the far East. His shots are square panels in square white frames, which pile up on his page like a neat stack of ivory dominos, each one with a small window into city life. Together, his shots tell a complete story of his city. There is the silver, sterile world of tall glass corporate buildings, the grimier yet more colorful world of cramped city apartments, the dark and anonymous subway, and noisy crowded downtown street, with billboards and restaurant signs beaming over the heads of the masses below. Each photo seems to tell a complete story of the place it is in, harnessing its mood and energy within the clean white frame encapsulating it.
