If it is true that we are what we repeatedly do, then what do the things that you fill your day with say about you? For this weekend’s Art Project, make a collage of photographs that depict how you spend one day in your life. (#WAPmyday)
Convert your camera lens into a window into your everyday life by making a “My Day” photo collage. Send in 4 – 8 photos that represent how you spend a single day this weekend. Everyone’s personal story is written in the small moments, whether it’s the things we do everyday that are so much apart of who we are that we barely notice them, or the unique moments that stand out against the routine.
Photography is a testament to the power of a single moment, how a frozen instance in time preserved on a film or hard drive can tell a profound emotional story. It’s like capturing lightning in a bottle. Yet in a single day, most of these moments slip from our memory if they are noticed at all.
If it is true that we are what we repeatedly do, then what do the things that you fill your day with say about you? Share a collage of photographs that will show what you did with 24 hours of your time this coming weekend.
How to participate?
Submit no more than a maximum of two collages that each depict one day you spend this weekend. Tag them with #WAPmyday to have them entered into the contest.
Check for the tutorial in a while! The WAP ends on Sunday, May 5th at midnight (San Francisco time).
How to Win?
Winners will be selected based on which “My Day” collage receives the most user votes, so be active, follow the contest and vote! You are free to share your collage and ask your friends to participate and vote for you or whichever collage they like best.
