Over the past few months we’ve made several changes to the Explore Page in the PicsArt photo editor app — most notably by merging the Artists Page with the Explore Page. We know how important the Explore Page is because better discovery means better inspiration. Armed with more relevant, high-quality inspiration, we know that artists are motivated to create, step outside their comfort zones and try something new. To help our artists be as inspired as possible, we know that the Explore Page will always need constant tweaking, adjustments and improvements.
Over the past week, we’ve rolled out a few updates to the Explore Page to make it more dynamic, relevant, and interesting. Here’s what’s new:
- Our new Joined This Week section is curated and shows off the top photos and profiles of users who, well, joined this week! Go ahead and give them a big hello!
- We also have a slew of new topic cards (like Edited, Nature, People, etc.) with corresponding Suggested Artists directly underneath. You can expect more category cards in the coming weeks. For now, they’re curated, but don’t be surprised if we start filling them with customized suggestions in the future! 😉
- It may not be a new card, but we highly suggest checking out the Create + Discover card. It’s filled with the most popular stories on our new blog. Scroll through it to find interviews, tutorials and information on current photo trends.
- The ads in the Explore Page have been moved further down to be less intrusive!
Speaking of ads… We’ve removed the banner ad in the Editor for everyone. Editing in PicsArt is now an ad-free experience. For free. For everyone. Just make sure you’re using the latest version of the PicsArt app to see no ads.
