PicsArt is moving from your computer screen to the reading rack, because this week, we are announcing the Magazine Cover Contest, our first official Graphic Design Contest (#GDcover).<\/span><\/p>\n

Imagine your own photography publication, then realize a cover for one edition of your magazine using only PicsArt tools. Your cover should include the title of your magazine, a subtitle highlighting your feature story, and a cover photo.  You might also want to include additional features like small titles and pictures from various articles in your magazine, but it is entirely up to you how simple or elaborate you want your cover to be. All text and art content should be of your own creation, we want wholly original designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the Graphic Design Contest is to encourage users to produce professional Graphics by combining various PicsArt tools such as editing effects, drawing, text and clipart. Graphics should stand out and send a clear message. <\/span><\/p>\n

Most importantly, make sure that you design a cover that jumps off the shelves and gets readers itching to flip through the pages of your magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n

All graphic design works should be created using the PicsArt photo editing and drawing tools. The Graphic Design contest is announced every Monday morning (PST). You will be given four days to create your own unique graphics.<\/span><\/p>\n

To Participate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can only submit a maximum of two cover designs to the Contest. To enter, tag the designed covers as #GDcover or submit them in the ‘Contest’ section.<\/span><\/p>\n

All entries must be submitted by Wednesday at midnight San Francisco time. Voting is then extended an extra day and continues until midnight on Thursday. This gives late submissions a full extra day to collect votes.<\/span><\/p>\n

NOTE: All GD contests will be launched every Monday.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Selecting the Winners<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can vote for your favorite designs in the “Contests” section of the app or by visiting the “Contests” section on our web. The top 10 designs that have accrued the most votes by midnight on Thursday, May 16 (San Francisco time) will be the #GDcover contest winners.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Graphic Design Contest(#GD), our new regular contest, encourages users to produce professional Graphics around a wide range of themes and compete for the best design. Each challenge will present a concept, and users will subsequently edit photos, art, and texts to design Graphics that stand out and catch the eyes of observers. Whether you prefer subtlety or excitement, make sure your graphic designs attract and reward attention.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
