Come prepared, this week’s competition is sure to draw the most skilled artists from the PicsArt community, and you will need to be as sharp as the blade of a sword. It’s the Samurai Drawing Challenge. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Samurai, also known as the Shogun, were the warriors of pre-modern Japan, but beyond being soldiers of unparalleled skill, they turned combat into an artform, and this artform into a way of life. The Samurai followed a strict code called Bushido, a rich philosophy system, which emphasized the values of loyalty and honor in death. Samurai lived lives of strict discipline, every action and aspect of their daily routine completely deliberate, from the details on their uniforms to the slightest movement of their blades. They fought fearlessly and lived spiritually. <\/span><\/p>\n

For this Drawing Challenge, use PicsArt drawing tools to honor the Samurai and lend your skill as an artist to pay tribute to their legacy. <\/span><\/p>\n

All drawings must be submitted between 9:00 AM (PST) on Saturday, November 9, and 3:00 PM (PST) on Sunday November 10.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

How to Vote <\/span><\/h2>\n

Voting will begin as soon as submissions start at 9:00 AM (PST) on Saturday, and will last until 3:00 PM (PST) on Monday. <\/span><\/p>\n

You can vote for your favorite images in the “Contests<\/a>” section of the app or by visiting the “Contests” section of our website. <\/span><\/p>\n

Non-Original Artwork Will be Removed!!<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

    All submissions must be original drawings created by users using only the PicsArt App drawing tools. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
