Nara Smith has become an icon on TikTok, instantly recognizable from her aesthetically pleasing cooking content with soft-spoken voice-overs. Smith\u2019s earliest videos currently visible on her channel are fashion-focused, but it was only when she started to post recipe videos making food from scratch that Nara\u2019s channel started to blow up. Food isn\u2019t the only thing that Nara whips up in her videos, she\u2019s also made toothpaste, soap and cola to name a few. Racking up millions of views on each video, Nara Smith has become a familiar face to TikTok users. We’ve been inspired by her creativity and as a result we\u2019ve used Picsart to create a Nara Smith themed cookbook cover (from scratch, of course). <\/span><\/p>\n

If you own a food-centered business, we hope this serves as inspiration for you to create your own cookbook, which could be sold either as a physical product or as an e-book. Turn your food truck\u2019s best sellers into a popular PDF download, or take your meal prepping business to new heights by releasing a step-by-step guide on how to build great high protein lunches. Whatever your focus, take a page out of our book and get creating by following the steps below.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Head over to picsart.com or open up the Picsart app<\/span><\/h2>\n

In templates search \u2018book cover\u2019 and choose one that fits the vibe you\u2019re going for. For this cover, we chose a minimalist design which is sleek and modern to mirror Nara\u2019s content.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Next it\u2019s time to change the copy<\/span><\/h2>\n

Make sure that your text reflects both your brand and the contents of your recipe book. Simply select the text you want to change and include your carefully crafted title. We\u2019ve titled this cookbook \u2018Made from Scratch\u2019 to reflect how Nara makes all of her creations from their bare ingredients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Now you get to include an image<\/span><\/h2>\n

This can be selected from Picsart\u2019s extensive library, or you can upload your own. Take the time to decide what kind of photo or graphic you feel best represents your book. In this case, we\u2019ve chosen an image from Picsart\u2019s library. Nara is known for her banana bread, so a photo of a loaf cake was the obvious choice. We resized this to eliminate some of the empty space and to make our cover more visually captivating.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Effects are a great way to adjust an image to fit your desired look<\/span><\/h2>\n

Navigate to the Effects tool and have a play around to see which works best for your cover. We\u2019ve chosen a black and white filter to align with Nara\u2019s clothing\u2019s muted color palette and to replicate her sophistication.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Tweak your cover to perfection<\/span><\/h2>\n
