Maybe it\u2019s because the &#8217;80s are having a(nother) moment, maybe it\u2019s because technology has become so advanced that the aesthetic has *actually* become retro&#8230;or maybe it\u2019s just cool and we really shouldn\u2019t read that much into it. Whatever the case, we\u2019re totally into it. So here\u2019s a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">photo editing tutorial<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how to make glitch art selfies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the easy way. Life\u2019s a glitch, right? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Gryz0i1Do5g\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/picsart-photo-video-editor\/id587366035\">PicsArt application<\/a> and tap on the purple plus sign (+) at the bottom of the screen to start a new project.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap on the Store button and download the Static Masks pack. Tap on the Use button and choose your picture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap to select your mask (we used the third one), and tap on the mask again to open the settings panel. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the top row of icons to flip or rotate the mask, and use the sliders to adjust the opacity and hue. Choose the Difference blending mode.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap on the eraser at the top of the screen and erase the mask over part of your picture. Tap on the check mark to confirm. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap on \u201cApply\u201d and tap on the arrow in the top right corner to finish.
