Persephone Meet the lovely Persephone and with her my picture number six in the greek mythology series. 🙌🏻 She was the godess of fertility and the daughter of Demeter the nature godess. Persephone was captured by Hades and forced to marry him. And because she ate some pomegranate seeds in the underworld she wasn't allowed to go back up in her world for every one she ate. She ate 6 seeds so she had to stay 6 months of the year in the underworld and only 6 months she was allowed to go back up. Because her mother was inconsolable that her daughter was trapped in the underworld she let nature die for the time her daughter wasn't there. That's how the seasons were explained back then. 😅 Persephone must have missed her beloved nature very much so I created this beautiful cave for her where she could relax.
