Praying can take place anywhere one chooses to do it. One can be in a grand crowd, a small gathering or alone. The most important is taking your soul to heart and being real about it all. To many folks my life revolves around wine, food and coffee. Yes those are three things that drives me into a passionate frenzy at time. You many not want to see me when I go crazy of a wine, I am not sure if I want to see myself in that state. But it does happen and that is way I am still excited with the wine and all of its accouterments. Over the past 18 months, I have really intensified my love for #coffee . For more than a decade I have compared #caffeine drinks in Italy, New Zealand, France, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, United States and a few other places. While I drink what is the standard bearer in all of the port of calls, I often compare #cappuccino , #flatwhites and those kind of drinks so that I can have a standard measure. Since I have returned to San Francisco, I have discovered a #coffeecounterculture and it is very exciting. #Baristas so intent on making their mark in the world of coffee. Even more intriguing are the places themselves and the ambiance that one can only get in these places. For contemplation, I have often thought: Wine bars, dive bars were cool places to fine solace and peace. But coffee places may be the most special place to think, write, and find resolve. Chapel Hill is a tiny coffee spot that is no frills and offers excellent cappuccino and teas. The place is so understated that one could be one and alone here. Both Andy and Raphael will take good care of you. Bow your head and let us pray. (December 17, 2015, San Francisco, CA)
