PERMISSION DETAILS
When installing Picsart, users are asked to provide permission for Picsart to access your device. Types of permission requests differ for each platform. Here is the list and description of requests for permission for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Windows Store.
IOS PERMISSION REQUESTS
Permission required to access your device's camera to be able to take photos and use camera brush while using Picsart.
Permission required to access your device's external storage to be able to use Picsart for taking, storing and retrieving pictures.
Permission required to allow users to geotag their photos to find nearby users and photos.
Permission required for setting Picsart photos as device's contact images.
ANDROID PERMISSION REQUESTS
Allows users to make purchases from within Picsart, such as paid clipart images, frames, backgrounds, etc.
Allows users to log into and share from Picsart via other accounts (Google login, Google Drive, etc.)
Permission grants access to your device's external storage, enabling Picsart to take, store, and retrieve pictures.
Permission grants Picsart access to Wifi network. Internet connection is required to access the Picsart network, share photos, download packages, etc.
Permission allows to place a shortcut to Picsart on your phone's Home Screen.
Allows for better integration of Picsart with Google Play.
Allows Picsart to prevent device or screen from sleeping or dimming while editing or drawing.
Grants Picsart access to your device's camera to to take photos and use camera brush while in the app.
Provides ability to set Picsart photos as wallpaper.
Allows Picsart to analyze app usage for user experience improvement.
