Tell us about yourself
My name is Atul and I am an 18-year-old 2D artist from India. Over the past few years, I’ve honed my skills and developed a deep passion for creating stunning works of art that capture the beauty and complexity of the world around us. In addition to my art, I’ve also been exploring the world of NFTs and had the incredible opportunity to showcase my pieces in international exhibitions. Recently, I was selected to display my profile at an exhibition in Times Square, NYC, and I am eagerly anticipating my next exhibition in the city.

What inspired you to start creating your digital art?
I have always been interested in the world of art, but as a beginner, I found it difficult to express myself through traditional mediums such as painting or drawing. However, when I discovered Picsart, I found that I could channel my creativity into digital art. I love exploring different styles and techniques, and I’m inspired by a wide range of subjects, including nature, pop culture, and social issues.

How did you first find out about Picsart?
I first discovered Picsart through social media, where I saw other artists using the app to create amazing digital art. I was immediately drawn to the app’s intuitive interface and wide range of creative tools, so I decided to give it a try. As I began to experiment with Picsart, I found that it was the perfect platform for me to express my artistic vision. The app’s vast library of stickers, backgrounds, and filters, as well as its intuitive editing tools, allowed me to create edits that were both unique and visually stunning.
You’ve had your digital artwork displayed in several global exhibitions. What cities have these been in?
I have had my work featured in several cities around the world, including Beijing, Brussels, Boston, Miami, Mumbai and New York. Now, my upcoming art exhibition is in Pakistan, which is scheduled to take place in October at the NFT KHI Event.
ArtCrush has been a popular exhibition you were recently involved in. Can you tell us more about it and how you got involved?
ArtCrush is an extraordinary exhibition that showcases digital artwork on billboards and large walls using captivating lights. I had the incredible opportunity to be featured in this event. The selection process involved ArtCrush announcing their upcoming exhibition on social media platforms like Twitter. They encouraged artists to submit their artwork by dropping it in the comments section. Fortunately, my artwork caught their attention and was chosen for display at the exhibition.

How does it feel when you see your artwork displayed on big city streets?
It’s an incredible feeling to see my artwork displayed on billboards and in public spaces, knowing that thousands of people will see it. It’s an affirmation of my artistic vision and a testament to the power of digital art. Seeing my edits on display also motivates me to continue exploring new techniques and ideas, knowing that my work has the potential to reach a wide audience.

What’s your advice for other creators looking to get involved in similar exhibitions?
My advice for other creators who aspire to participate in similar exhibitions is to actively engage with social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter. It’s crucial to keep an eye on announcements made by various organizations that host such events. Many of them invite artists to submit their artwork for consideration. Artists increase their chances of being selected by staying updated and participating in these submission processes.
What Picsart tools and features do you tend to use?
Picsart offers a wide range of tools and features that allow me to experiment with different styles and techniques. For my ArtCrush edits, I used a combination of filters, backgrounds, stickers, and text overlays. I also used the draw and cut-out tools to create custom elements that I incorporated into my edits. The beauty of Picsart is that it is incredibly user-friendly and accessible, allowing me to create high-quality edits with just a few taps on my smartphone.

What would you say to artists just starting out?
Keep experimenting and pushing the boundaries of your creativity. Don’t be afraid to try new things or take risks, even if they don’t always work out. Also, seek out feedback from other artists and be open to constructive criticism. Finally, remember that art is a journey, and it takes time and practice to develop your skills and find your unique voice as an artist. Art is my passion and my life’s work, and I am constantly pushing myself to grow and improve as an artist.
