Back to School Card Graphic Design

For our Back to School Card Graphic Design Contest, we want you to create a card that welcomes your friends back for the first day of classes!

It’s been a long and gorgeous summer, but now students everywhere are getting ready to strap their backpacks on and file into homeroom to begin a new academic year. You’re sure to see some faces that you haven’t seen since the closing bell last spring, so design a card to welcome them back to school. Use photos, frames, back to school clipart package, text and whatever else you need to perfect your final design!

New Rules Begin This Week

Under our new rules, the Graphic Design Contest runs on a new 9-day schedule, submission and voting periods are separate, and entries are displayed randomly. Read below to learn the specifics!

How to Enter

Submit an entry by tagging it with #GDschoolcard, or by submitting it in the Contest section.

Submit a maximum of 2 designs between Tuesday (today) and Thursday, August 28, at midnight.

How to Vote

Voting Starts at midnight on Thursday, August 28 and closes at midnight on Wednesday, September 3.

Vote in the Contest section by selecting your favorite entries. Under new rules, all entries in the Contest section will be displayed in random order. No new entries are permitted once voting begins.

Contest Winners

The top 10 designs that have accrued the most votes by the close of voting will be our contest winners. Our Jury will pick and feature one entry that did not make it to the top 10.
