How the slideshow maker works
The slideshow maker is built on the Motion node, which is made for exactly this job. There is no timeline to drag photos along and no keyframes to set: you connect content, describe the video, and the node renders it.
- What goes in: the photos you connect on the canvas, plus a prompt describing the pace, the mood and the titles. It can also start from a prompt alone, or from a product URL for an ad or an announcement.
- What comes out: a finished video up to 10 minutes long, rendered in under 20 minutes. The video lands on its own node, ready to connect to music, clips or a share button.
- How you edit it: a chat sits inside the node. Ask it to change any slide, slow the opening or reword a title, and keep going until the story feels right.
How to create a video from pictures with the slideshow maker
Step 1. Upload your photos
Start a new canvas in Picsart Flow and bring in the pictures you want in the video, along with any short clips. AI-generated images can join the set too.
Step 2. Fix any photo with AI first
Use the photos as they are, or clean them up on the same canvas:
- Inpaint erases distractions, like a passerby behind your subject.
- Outpaint widens or lengthens a square picture so it fits a new frame without cropping.
- Relight changes the time of day on a clip so it matches the other shots.
Step 3. Let the Motion node build the slideshow
Connect your photos to the Motion node and describe what you want: the order, the pace, the mood, a title for the opening slide or a caption per photo. The more specific the prompt, the closer the first render lands.
Step 4. Refine it in the chat
Watch the result and ask the chat inside the node for changes until every slide works. Undo steps back through any edit.
Step 5. Add music

Mix photos and clips in one video
A few short clips between the pictures make a slideshow feel livelier. Let the Motion node handle the photos, cut each clip down to its best seconds, then chain the slideshow and the clips in story order with a Video Concat node.
