10 Best Photos from Our Green Weekend Art Project

Today, we announce the winners from our Green Weekend Art Project, in which we challenged our users to capture shots that highlight the color green.

PicsArt users answered the bell for our pre-St. Patrick’s Day contest with a mountain of beautiful emerald photos—6,916 to be precise! Our community voted all week to select the 10 best images, and considering the enormous volume of entries, these winners deserve our applause.

At the top of the heap with 99 votes was PicsArtist recep İSTANBUL  (@dokkan), with a vivid macro shot. This ladybug inching up a green leaf surrounded by beads of water was magical.

Standing out means spreading out your feathers and showing off your colors. That’s what Lou (@loutissiez) did to take second place with 90 votes. This peacock single-handedly topped countless competitors.

Chopek (@chopek) was not far behind, rounding out the top three by taking in 72 votes for this golden shot of a cold-blooded creature in the grass.

Our Jury’s Pick of the best shot outside of the top 10 came from kiran (@kiranrshetty), whose close-up pic of morning dew on the grass revealed the magnificent world beneath our feet.
