It’s been a whirlwind as of late, wrapping up the year at the PicsArt offices.
Not just because last Thursday, Forbes ranked us the fifth “hottest startup of 2015” (… although that might have something to do with it). But more importantly, because as we approach 2016, we wanted to take some time to reflect on how incredible this journey has been and express our heartfelt gratitude to you, our community. Everything you create and release in our app is a vote of confidence. You really are helping us to beautify the world.
From humble beginnings, we’ve celebrated several milestones over the past few years (30 million downloads by the end of our first year, tripling that number by our second, and now having more than 250 million…) and we are proud to say that we have never swayed from our goal of giving you the tools and a platform to express yourself creatively, whenever, wherever you can.
When we launched, we were one of the first to tread the fresh terrain that was all-in-one mobile photo editing, drawing, and community. As we move into the new year, we will continue to make PicsArt the place you can count on to inspire others and to find inspiration. We have a lot of exciting things to bring to you in the new year.
So… we’re taking this moment to say thanks to Forbes for ranking us #5. And thanks to each of you. It’s your creativity that inspires us every day. And it’s your contributions that have made us what we are today.
