We’re very happy to welcome Lusine Yeghiazaryan to Picsart as our new Chief Financial Officer.
Lusine joins at a particularly exciting point in Picsart’s story. Creation is changing quickly as AI makes entirely new formats and workflows possible, and video is becoming an increasingly important part of how people communicate, build audiences, and grow businesses. Picsart is evolving with that shift, building on more than 14 years in creative technology to become a video-first, AI-powered production ecosystem.
There’s already real momentum behind that direction. Picsart users have created more than 1.1 billion AI videos and images since launch, and year-to-date AI usage has grown 270% year over year. At the same time, the platform is expanding into new ways of creating and working, from video-first tools and Creative AI Agents to CLI and MCP integrations and AI Playground on desktop.
Building at that pace requires making deliberate choices about where to invest, where the biggest opportunities lie, and how to turn innovation into durable growth. That’s where Lusine’s experience will be especially valuable.
She has spent her career helping technology businesses navigate growth and change. As CFO of SADA Systems, Lusine helped expand the business into new services and AI revenue streams, managed its global partnership with Google Cloud, and ultimately led its strategic sale to Insight Enterprises. Before SADA, she held management roles across companies including Diebold Nixdorf, Deloitte, and GoPro.
At Picsart, Lusine will lead global financial strategy as the company continues investing in AI and video, with a particular focus on sustainable growth, monetization, and allocating resources to the areas with the greatest long-term potential.
What stood out to us about Lusine wasn’t only the breadth of that experience. She understands how to balance ambition with discipline – something that matters enormously at a moment when both Picsart and the creative technology market are moving so quickly.
As Hovhannes Avoyan, Founder and CEO of Picsart, puts it: “Lusine joins Picsart at an inflection point for both our company and the broader creative technology market. As AI and video transform how people create and communicate, we are focused on scaling the opportunities with the greatest potential to drive long-term growth and value. Lusine’s experience building and guiding high-growth technology businesses will be instrumental as we execute on that ambition.”
For Lusine, the opportunity is just as much about what comes next: bringing together Picsart’s global scale, its relationship with creators, and the possibilities opening up across AI and video.
There’s plenty to build from here, and we’re delighted to have Lusine helping shape that next chapter.
Welcome to Picsart, Lusine.
