You’ll be joining a dynamic team that values creativity and principled risk-taking. You will work closely and build trusted relationships with a number of business teams, including our Partnerships, API, and Finance teams.
You’ll work on a diverse scope of issues and projects, proactively assessing legal risks that cut across many areas of law and jurisdictions. We have a minimal hierarchy, and your ideas and contributions will make an immediate impact.

You will

Serve as legal support for corporate transactions, including securities offerings, financings, investments, acquisitions and divestitures and other strategic transactions, and provide oversight on executive compensation administration
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of strategic agreements and commercial contracts that support and enable our business operations under tight deadlines
Support our corporate governance activities, including managing our international corporate governance, international registration, and compliance processes
Act as lead counsel for select overseas hubs
Provide business-focused legal advice across the organization on commercial legal matters (marketing and content, for example) and important business initiatives, such as Picsart’s B2B focus
Drive continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability
Collaborate with other legal team members to share ideas, teach and learn from each other, and improve how we work

About you

J.D. degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school; admitted to and member in good standing of a state bar, preferably New York or California
4-6 years of relevant experience at a top law firm, with previous in-house experience strongly preferred
Experience with intellectual property licensing preferred
Ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize, think critically and exercise judgment
Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and willingness to take ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolve issues proactively
Ability to learn quickly and take on challenging new projects with enthusiasm
Excellent commercial negotiation and drafting skills
Fluency translating legal advice into actionable guidance for business teams
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor
