Step 1

Open a photo of a cup of coffee (or tea!) in the photo editor. You can use one of your own photos, or find one by another user by searching for #FreeToEdit and #Coffee in the app. Tap on the Add Photo icon.

Step 2

Select the picture you’d like to use as an overlay. Use the arrow icons to rotate and enlarge your picture, and drag it to place it. Use the slider to lower the opacity a bit (this will make it easier to see your background as you erase).

Step 3

Tap on the eraser icon at the top of the screen.

Step 4

Tap on the eraser in the bottom toolbar to open the brush settings menu. Select a small brush size and set the hardness to 100%. Use your finger or stylus to erase the edges of the added image. Tap on the check mark to confirm.

Step 5

Use the slider to bring the opacity back up to 100%.

Step 6

Tap on the plus sign and select “Clipart.”

Step 7

Select the Splash package.

Step 8

Tap on the Clipart you’d like to use.

Step 9

Use the arrow icons to rotate and enlarge the Clipart, and drag it to place it.

Step 10

Tap on the plus sign and select “Clipart” again.

Step 11

Repeat the process to add a second Clipart image. When you’re done, tap on “Apply.”

Step 12

Tap on the arrow icon to finish. Save your picture and share it on PicsArt with the hashtag #CoffeeOverlay!
