The extension brings capture, selected-media saves and AI creation into one workspace. Here is the workflow being prepared for release.
Capture screenshots and select page media
Find supported images and videos on the page, capture the visible page, or select a screenshot area. Preview your selection before taking it further.
Save selected files to Picsart Drive
Connect your Picsart account and choose a destination folder. Review the selected file and approve its transfer before saving it to Picsart Drive.
Create images and videos with AI
Start an image edit or video idea with a reference and your own prompt. Choose a model and settings, approve the credit terms, and review the result in History.

Images and supported direct videos
Area-video recording is not available in Firefox. Screenshot and visible-frame capture are the supported capture options.
Supported pages only
Internal browser pages, protected content and unsupported streams may not be captured. YouTube support is limited to visible frames and thumbnail discovery, not full-video downloads.
A visual web clipper for Firefox
Save the image, detail or supported direct video that helps explain your idea. Use screenshot capture and selected-media web clipping to collect design references, plan a mood board or prepare a creative brief in Picsart Drive. Full-article and whole-site archiving are not included.
Take your saved video into Picsart Clipper
Continue with Picsart's online video clipping tool from a supported saved video. The extension passes its Drive file to the connected web app. Video clipping happens there; the extension itself does not automatically create highlights. Automatic file selection remains under installed-browser verification.
Control your files and generation credits
Capture and preview locally first. Choose which media leaves your browser and review generated content before using it.
Review before uploading
Only use media you have permission to use. Review your selection before saving or preparing a creation reference. Avoid uploading personal, private or confidential information.
Approve generation separately
Online creation requires a Picsart account and applicable credits. Review the exact quote when available. If pricing is unavailable, proceeding requires a separate, explicit acceptance of an unknown charge.
Know what stays in the cloud
Preparing an image reference can upload it before generation approval. Cancelling generation, disconnecting or uninstalling does not delete files already saved to Picsart Drive.

How does the Firefox screenshot extension work?
Capture the visible page, a selected screenshot area or a visible video frame. Firefox 142 or later is required. Area-video recording is unavailable.
Where can I install the extension?
A public Firefox Add-ons release is not available yet. This page introduces the pre-release experience; it does not provide a public installation package.
What if a generation says its outcome is unknown?
Do not submit the same generation again. Check Picsart Drive and contact support with the local support job ID and any displayed error. An uploaded reference is not proof that a generation completed or that a result was saved.
Can I use it when the exact price is unavailable?
The development build offers a separate Continue without price choice, followed by explicit approval of an unknown charge. Selecting a model or reference alone does not authorize generation. This service path is still undergoing live verification.
Does it open my video in Clipper?
The extension is designed to open Picsart video clipping with the saved Drive file selected. The file handoff is implemented; automatic selection is still being verified in installed Firefox.
Is background removal included?
The included account-tool integration is not available in this build. Its action explains that limitation and does not substitute a paid generation.
Does the extension collect usage analytics?
The current extension does not collect usage analytics. Picsart websites have their own privacy practices.
