Aesthetic background images are soft, visually pleasing backdrops - pastel gradients, dreamy bokeh, muted florals, and gentle textures you can build a post or an edit around. The set spans warm and cool tones, so matching a mood does not mean starting from a blank canvas.
These work for Instagram Stories and Reels, quote graphics, profile headers, and clean website sections. Reach for cute aesthetic backgrounds when a layout needs a calm, on-trend feel, or a bolder gradient when it needs contrast. They double as phone wallpapers and presentation slides.
Make a background your own in a few steps:
1⃣ Open one in the Photo Editor and crop or resize it to your format.
2⃣ Shift the mood with Photo Effects & Filters to warm or cool the tones.
3⃣ Drop in a subject, then tidy the edges with the Background Remover.
Browse the collection and pull a soft aesthetic background into your next layout.
