An award certificate should include the name of the award, the organization granting the award, and a very brief description of the award’s purpose. Some certificates also list the names of authority figures who oversee the award and the name of the recipient. However, for certificates that are frequently awarded, it’s often beneficial to leave a blank line for the name of the recipient so that it can be handwritten or printed at a later date.

Certificates are available to download in popular image formats, such as PNG, JPG, and PDF.

This design workflow is paid. Check the current plan options and included features on the Picsart pricing page before starting.

Make your own certificate template by opening the Picsart photo editor and using the blank canvas. You can also select Resize on the left sidebar and either choose a pre-defined canvas size or enter dimensions for a custom size. Choose an image from the Background or Photos category to use as a backdrop of your design. Add elements such as text boxes, shapes, and stickers to personalize the design, and rearrange them until you’re satisfied. Then, save the design to use as a template.

Include the recipient, achievement, issuing organization, date, and authorized signature details. A certificate design does not independently certify a qualification or grant an accreditation.

Describe the audience, purpose, required information, and visual style. Add the final information yourself and check its accuracy before sharing.
