Make money on TikTok by choosing the right route
TikTok creators can make money through eligible native rewards, commerce commissions, brand work, fan support, their own offers, and qualifying creator campaigns. Each route has its own rules. Choose the payer first, then make an original video that meets the requirements. Posting or reaching a view count does not guarantee payment.

Keep native rewards and sponsored work separate
Sponsored content is excluded from the Creator Rewards original-content route. TikTok's rewards comparison also addresses Duets and Stitches. Do not budget 2 payouts for the same sponsored video.

Check your region and account before producing
Creator Rewards eligibility is market-specific. Official guidance lists:
- Account: An eligible personal account in good standing.
- Age: 18+ (19 in South Korea).
- Audience: 10,000 followers.
- Recent views: 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
Eligible videos have separate originality, duration, enrollment, and qualifying-view requirements.
Check the current in-app terms for your region and official Creator Rewards guidance before relying on these thresholds. Shop, fan support, and paid briefs use different requirements; there is no single follower minimum for every way to earn.

Give each short video a clear job
Creative directions are examples. Native rewards, sponsored work, and paid asset production have separate eligibility and payment rules.
Write 2 production briefs instead of forcing 1 cut
Plan native rewards and paid campaign work separately.
Native rewards: A video needs original substance and must meet the program's at-least-1-minute rule and post-enrollment conditions.
Paid campaign work: A sponsored brief defines its own duration, creative, and qualifying event.
For a tutorial, show the actual process. For a product brief, follow the required demonstration. For an AI-allowed concept, use only permitted tools and inputs. A single short cut cannot be assumed to qualify for every route.

How to
Find a real question
Use audience questions and Creator Search Insights where available. Pick an answer you can demonstrate with original work.

Clear the commercial checks before posting
Read the Earn campaign before opening a tool
Confirm that a current Earn brief accepts TikTok and fits your account. Read:
- Production rules: Allowed tools and duration. A human-only brief cannot be completed with a synthetic presenter.
- Delivery rules: Posting instructions and submission deadline.
- Reward conditions: Reward model and approval conditions.
- After posting: Retention requirements.
The Earn program terms require age 18+, an eligible individual account established for at least 30 days, and country and payment-provider eligibility. Availability and rewards vary by campaign.

Some TikTok brand, asset-production, or commerce routes have different requirements from Creator Rewards. Check the specific program or buyer; a smaller audience does not guarantee acceptance.
